PROCESS AND DEVELOPMENT
Through my research which included vox pop, questionnaire and interviews,
I found some important issues in the behavior of young people, in the field between reacting to norms or to their parents' values and behavior at home.
"How can you evolve young people to achieve a more independent approach to garbage sorting?"
"How can you furthermore give the young interesting and relevant knowledge in a
fun and motivation way, so they will get the best possibilities and prerequisites for a good behavior for garbage sortering, when they move out?"
My final design product is a digital platform based on the key values 'community' and 'competition'
to boarding schools, where the students will compete against other schools. The main content on the site is learning objectives through gamification and quizzes. The users will be able to see an official scoreboard, visit their profile for statistics or look in the 'sorting guide' for help.
